rubbing at full turn is probably not that big of a deal. don't think i turn that sharp very often anyway. is it the height that makes it rub or the width? I want to make sure that when i go off roading that i will have little to no rubbing. like when i'm bouncing around and the tires are not at full turn. that's when i would be worried about tearing something up
Depends on the size you're going with, but my 305's rub on width, not height. It's been 14k miles now and haven't noticed any problems due to rubbing.
What if I ran a 275 65R20 which equates to 34.5 inches in diameter and 11 inches wide.
If I ran this size tire would I need spacers?
Toyo Open Country MT's have this size tire.
My Toyo Open Country ATs are that same size, and on my BigHorn 4x4 there is NO rubbing - neither while driving on or off-road nor while towing heavy... You will have to adjust the speedo (of course)...

Are these on the stock tires? How do you like them? Also could you post a picture of your truck so I can see what the tires look like?
