I don't know what the climate is like where you live. But if you double stick taped a piece of anything over that damage in MN, you would have a rust hole through your bumper in a very short time.

Bang it out so that there is no gap between the bumper and your plate, and make sure that the damaged area has no exposed metal that can rust. Any thing you cover that with is going to trap moisture so you need to make sure that moisture has nothing to attack.

It's a common mistake that Jeep guys make. They buy body armor to cover a bunch of dents and scratches only to have the tub rot out behind the armor.

In the picture it looks like the paint flaked off, and most primer is not moisture resistant.

now i guess i have to go to lowes and pick out a piece of metal. my biggest problem will be bending the metal plate so that it swoops underneath the bumper.

its going to be a little bit of a process. not to mention business is slow so it may take a little longer than i expect. Ill keep this thread updated as i get pieces and get ideas.
Hey SOBO, I love your first mod. I might use your idea and list that mod in my sig. only it would be a glock 19 in the top glove box.

I need to update my sig. I put the .45 under my wife's seat now and I have a STI GP6 under mine.
