Mag- Hytec diff. cover on a 09 ram 2 wd?

Since I hadn't seen any info on this, I went ahead and ordered a cover for mine. The people at 4wheelparts said it would fit, too...
The cover does NOT fit out of the box. It will clear the sway bar OK, no problems there, however, there is less than 1mm or so of clearance between the panhard bar and the cover.
I had the choice between losing about $50 - $60 or so on shipping and restocking fees, or void the warranty on the cover by grinding it, I chose to void the warranty. Ground down the top part of the fins until they were flush with the valley, put a coat of bedliner on it, now it fits just fine, with a bit more than 1/2" of clearance between the panhard bar and the cover itself.
