If anyone has step tubes that seem to shake or rattle alot when going over small bumps in the road, apparently this is a known problem with some of the '09 dodge step tubes on the QC. They do not mount as well as in previous versions leaving some small amount of play at the mount site. They need rubber insulating bushings put in where they bolt up and the problem is resolved.

My dealer said he has now done this fix on 4 of the '09 QC's he has sold out of his dealership, and a friend who purchased from another dealership has relayed a similiar story from his dealer.

Its kind of subtle but once you hear it, its quite annoying and you hear it every time

 

My dealer told me they could not fix it, so me being paraplegic and my bro inlaw managed to fix it, we just put some rubber strips in between where it rattles while pressure on it. Fixed. I got a good deal there but what a **** poor service dept.
