Default RER update

Hey guys i was wondering if you guys could take me through the process of updating my rer. I have already downloaded it but what do i do next?

Put it in the CD/DVD drive and follow the on-screen instructions. Just make sure you don't turn the key off while doing the upgrade or you'll screw the unit up royally.

im also interested. where do you get the downloads from? is there anything else to do to the files b4 you brun them to disc and insert into headunit? ive heard of some people saying you have to take out one or 2 files and them burn and install. whats the deal?

The latest REN software is all you will get, there will be no more updates for it. Chrysler has changed to a Mitsubishi radio for 2010 instead of Harmon ...if you look the VR and Uconnect button are on the opposite side.

No. It would be nice to be able to d/l updates via satellite for the application software and especially the nav database but it doesn't work that way. You can d/l free application software updates at the link mentioned in message #5 above. The map database update is around $200 from Navteq.
