The truck I traded in for my new 2009 Quad 5.7 was a '03 Ford. I used 5w20 oil from day one. It would use abt a pint in 3000 miles. Just before I traded it (at111,000) it was using a quart and one half. How will my Dodge handle this thin oil?

Oil has come along way from what it use to be. I would blame the filter not filtering properly before blaming the oil.
