Great question about these... as some of you know, I've had "shimmy" issues and basically I'm at the point where they aren't going to be balanced any better.

Currently though I have LT tires with P pressure (to keep the TPMS happy). Do you guys think maybe increasing the pressure will "round" out the tire??? If so, how close to the max should I go?

If you want to really F up an LT tire, keep running it at the pressure you are running it at. You're going to need at least 50 PSI to keep that tire happy. Once you get it up to 50, then get yourself some chalk and some dry pavement to figure out the final pressure.

My Hummer H2 tires were 315/70-17 LT and were inflated to 37psi as per door sticker. I don,t think all LT tires need 50psi.

the P series tire for our trucks are different then say a P series tire for a small car. They are still a truck tire but just dont have the extra renforcement as a LT truck tire. If you pull a trailer or haul heavy loads on a daily basis i would recomend a LT tire. but if you drive mostly on pavement and only pull a medium sized trailer (4500 pounds) a few times a month the P series truck tire are just fine
