Should I go to the dealer to get a flash?
I bought my truck Mid Oct. 2009 and have not gone back to the dealer to have any flash done yet...The dealer is 3+ hours away..so i guess my questions are..
-Can i get a flash done at any Dodge dealership?
-Has there been some humongous beneficial flash that i missed?
-What are the consequences of having none of the flashes done and then getting the Diablo Predator??
Thanks so much in advance for any input!

There is not a flash out that I am aware of to give earlier build the fuel saver light. The one suggested on another thread did not work for all but a couple people. Me included.

Yes you should, and check for any recalls. I just had my truck in for oil and rotate the tires. They also flashed the computer and did the AC module recall.
I also had the gas pedal squeak lubed. They also checked the tailgate cover service but it had already been done.
When I first got my truck I had the lean to the left. It was quite noticable when standing behind the truck. So I had them check that but it was perfectly level on the garage floor. ??? Must have fixed itself, because I when I got home it was nice and flat. Go figure. When all was said and done the guy had to write up 5 pages of warranty work. Cost me $19.00 for the rotation.
