Wish this was around when I got mine. Anyways if you guys do get one you will really like them. Just make sure you download the program so you can set up the allgig to run what you want to run i.e. video in motion. It will not work in "R" though well at least mine wont. All in all very easy and well worth the money.

I have the All Gig and from all of the research I did, it's the best unit out there. It gave me the option of not only allowing video in motion (I don't watch it, but my wife does on trips), it also allows you to use the DVD player in the dash to display on a rear screen. It has the option of adding another camera, or just a rear view one if you did not get one from the factory. In my case I have it also wired with the optional AV harness so I can pipe in the Sat TV to the front screen so if my wife wants to watch what the kids are watching (sometimes because she's in a SpongeBob mood, sometimes because she just wants to make sure they are watching something we find appropriate). The lockpick has had issues with drop outs on the new Rams, and it's also not easily upgradeable (whenever new software comes out for the Allgig, you just plug in your laptop to the UBS cable in the glovebox to update to the latest firmware or software (not sure which term is correct). I was told of the new prices for this group buy and they are better than the military discount (but I was asked not to publicly post them).

I have that harness as I mentioned earlier and it was necessary for all of the things I wanted to do with the all gig, but not be for everyone since I think those just wanting the option of vid in motion and Nav input address input in motion can just buy the main part.

I am interested as well (maybe the cable too), but would like to know the cost before I commit. Thanks for organizing this group buy.

So what happens if you have a problem and have to go to dealer you have to change your software back to the standard? Well I suppose I have nothing to lose since I installed my REN my self and bought the uconnect module. only thing warrantied is the uconnect setup parts only.
