Default How to Disable TPMS while using Winter Tires

Hi everyone, I am a new poster, and I recently installed my winter tires for the season, and I would like to disable the tire pressure monitoring system for the next 6 months. Has anyone figured out how to do this, or am I going to be stuck with that warning light through the winter... Thanks
SP

I don't think you can turn these lights off.

I'm told all those bros with fancy tires/wheels on Escalades and such have that warning glaring at them.Sure would be nice to turn it off if owner so desires.

Take the tire pressure sensors out, mount them in a PVC tube with end caps on it - pump it up to 35 psi and throw it in the glove compartment

Or jsut spend the $100 and put TPMS sensors in your winter wheels.

If you are buying winter wheels whats the diff another 100 bucks then you won't have the glare. I even asked a dealer I know they cannot do it...well they won't because it is law in some states????? I live in Canada I don't think we have a law yet but there will be?
