Passenger side hump 2009
yeah who cares right? im not the riding in the front or back, but it brings down the overall value of the truck. dont get me wrong i love this truck but minor chages should be made, and that's one of it. I dont see that on Ford or Chevy, they also have better back seat configuration especially the middle one. I agree that Ram still is a bretter truck but could be even better. Thanks for the reply.
Your engine is offset to the passenger side to clear the steering column. That is why there is more of an intrusion than on the driver side. If you want a center back seat that is equal in comfort to the outboard seats, i suggest that you raise the body of your truck so you can clear the driveline & flatten the hump, then cut the cab in half down the middle and weld in a foot of extra width. Then you can rig up some custom seats.
