Default Tonneau Covers

Has anyone used the Extang Revolution. I am looking for a low profile and have been considering Bak Rollup but is more than double the Extang and I am not worried about having a hard cover also the Extang has Lifetime waranty wornding if anyone has used. Thanks for the help.

There is an Extang rollup on one of our trucks at work. It's better than the tri-fold style some others make (also on another truck here), because you can still put really big / tall (i.e. dirtbike) stuff in the bed. I'm going to get a rollup one for my truck... I've just been trying to find a good price on one. Extangs are one of the few I've dealt with that have never had any broken pieces after a year or two.

no. there are ribs there. the difference is that they dont bow upwards like and arch. they sit in the middle and support the center so that it is flat all the way across.

I bought one it opens like a hardtop but is vinyle from Craftec for 259, easy to install. Works well and keeps it dry in there.

i saw that one but i didnt want to be stuck if i wanted to haul something i didnt intend to while i was out. the roll up makes it so i can do just that. with yours, you would have to plan and take it off and leave it at the house to haul something. in other words, if you were out, and found something you liked or wanted to buy, you would have to travel to the house to take your tonneau off if it was something taller than your bed rails.

evenodds20,

Do the bows stay with the cover when you roll it up that is kind of what I liked about the exxtang. If anyone is looking JC Whiney has the extang revolution for $351 I think. I am in the same boat one of my friends has a Quad Cab and got the one with the frame that tilts up but as you said I do not want to have to hole frame off and his sits higher I wanted to keep as flush as possible I like that the Access I have the same truck in same color except have the SLT BigHorn pacakace so crome bumpers and regular 20" wheels. Thanks for the pics.
