Anyway, thats interesting that it allowed you to do a burnout. Has anyone got to 105 and tried this to see if it would go further... my guess is no but just wondering. Maybe certain trucks do this and some don't???

hey sorry i havnt been on in a couple days... we did it in his 09 ram and i am positive the driving past 105 works... we did it on the highway and when we tried the burnout he spun the tires better than he ever has before but that may have been a one time thing maybe he just got a good hit... and yea when you put the key to start it doesnt engage the starter and it shuts off the lcd screen but the gauges still work

Disclaimer: I only tried this once and I am unsure if it actually works or if it was just a fluke.
Can you normally get a burnout going in your truck, I know mine is the same except I have the Crew not Quad, or was this one of the only times you got rubber?

I posted on the first page that I was able to do a burn out while holding the key in the start position but once I let go of the key it allow the ESP to engage. I have a 2009 QC 4x4 hemi sport. I have not been able to get any where that I can safely test the 105 limit with out endangering anyone. I do think that this may actually be valid but I question if it will damage any of the parts of the electrical system.
silver ram, am I correct that you held the key in the start position the full length of time that you were "playing" and that you did not do the key trick like the LX does?

Yes that is a great question Will it cause any damage? What if you just do it as a one time test to see if the tires will spin?

72combo, I can get the tires to spin if I power brake the truck normally except when I normally power brake the truck the Electric LSD (a part of the ESP) will engage causing the other tire to try to spin but it also feels like the truck is trying to jumb as the ESP applies the brakes to create a LSD effect.
When I tried spinning while holding the key in the start postition the other tire never offered to try to spin and the truck never jumped, it smoked one tire until I let go of the key and the partical ESP took over.

It did not create any damage thet I have noticed so far as I did it as a one time test myself.

Tried this on my wet driveway today and sure enough it worked like a charm. I tried spinning the tires with the esp button on and off and esp kicked in but the key turning completely disabled it and TC.
Now I'll have no problems this winter when it snows

tombogue09, do you have 3.55 or the 3.92 w/ LSD?
