Has anyone come up with a definite fix for the sloooooow outside temperature indicator to get it to read the current temperature faster then the customary 20 minutes from the start of the vehicle?

I've had to my dealer twice and the first time they had to change out some wiring harness and the 2nd time they said that's just the way it is - sorry, but I don't buy that. I had a Chevy HHR as a rental and that temp indicator had the current temp immediately. (I know because it matched the bank across the street).

 

Mine is slow as hell too.

 

Mine adjusts after starting within a minute.

 

had to have mine worked on twice, second time it showed to always be 101 degrees after the second fix it was fine , they replaced the sensor and wiring

 

mine takes atleast 10minutes to update from the previous days temperature...
