Yes, but that is not considered a different "way" in the terms of 10 way than the front or rear tilt up/down from what I understand.

not knocking you, just explain the post.

the definition of 10 way, is being able to adjust your (seat) not lumbar support. So, the seat is able to move in 10 different directions which is explained in my first post.

In other words, if the memory seats or heated seat buttons were on the seat, you would not count those as 13 or 14 way seats. those buttons don't move the seat in different directions.

maybe this will clear up the confusion...

I see it as this way: Heated seats are not a form of movement or adjustability of fit. Lumbar is a moving function to change the seating posistion and is power activated. Furthermore, my owners manual refers to the seats as "8 way power seats" and the next section is "Power Lumbar", which seems to indicate that is the remaining 2 movement options for the seat.

So I guess memory seats would be an 11 way seat since it's a "moving function to change the seating position and is power actived."

We can debate this all day, ppl will see it how they will.

Either way, these are 10 way seats which is the purpose of the post.

If you have these options, you have a 10 way seat.

No because the memory is not an actual seperate seat movement. The lumbar however is. Have you ever seen a manual lumbar (lever or ****?) It still moves the seat but is not a "power" option. I will just settle this (in my mind) by referring to the aforementioned owners manual which clearly calls it an 8 way power seat with an additional "Power Lumbar" option and also refer you to my wife's BMW which has a clear definition of her 16 way power seats. The owners manual on it does define the Lumbar as 4 of those power "WAYS" (in and out on the lumbar and also the ability to move the lumbar up and down in the seatback).

Like I said before, we can debate this all day. Lumbar support is just that, lumbar support. It is not a seat movement!!! If I have short legs, I will move the seat forward. I'm i'm short, I will move the seat up to see over the wheel. So up/down is a movement, tilt front up/down is a movement of the seat, tilt up/down for your back near the lumbar is a movement of the seat. The lower lever can MOVE the seat in 8 DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS and the upper lever can move in two different directions. It's that simple.

So if you can honestly say that the lower switch CAN NOT move in 8 different directions, than you have issues of your own. I'm done with this thread.

If you have these options, you have a 10 way seat - purpose of this thread.

I am done with the discussion. I disagree, but I am not going to pursue it further. It's making my head hurt
