And by the way, my dad has the mopar chrome one on his austin tan QC, and it actually blends into the grill pretty nicely, since it doesn't go down over the headlights

Chrome one has the same effect on my truck as well. It looks like its part of the grille.

I'm digging up an old thread but is the Mopar "Chrome" bug shield actually chrome or the same stuff as my wheels (i.e. chromed plastic). I'm guessing plastic for $100 +/-.......

On the other hand how hard could it be to get a clear one and paint the inside white (assuming I could match the white)?
