Went on vacation last week. It pretty much centered around things to do with the 09'. Day 1 (Sunday) - went to friends house where we had 'a good ol time.' They crops are out and we were in. (By the way he has the Vmax 6.0 (or whatever it is) in his 07 Chevy... and the Dodge is faster)




Day 2 (Monday) - Drove to Silver Lake Sand Dunes... There were only 2 other people there. Awesome time, so much fun that neither the wife no I would get out to take pictures except when we stopped. Should have taken more pictures, but I didn't. Launched the truck 19 paces... equal to about 50 feet. The truck is awesome here... deffinately the highlight of the trip.


Day 3 (Tuesday) - Drove to Mackinac bridge. Realized that tourist season is over and there isn't much else to do up there. Drove home later that night and averaged about 16.5 miles per gallon (taking into account the 35's).

Day 4 (Wed) - Raked leaves, by far the best day of the trip and tons of fun. If anyone wants to come over and rake... I'll let you.

I'm so jealous! Haven't been to silver lake since I was little. Oh I miss home.

It was a ton of fun up there. Next time I'm saving the dunes for the end of vacation (not first thing), because it was all downhill from there. I'll definitely be heading up there more often next year. It made it up everything there with no problems... didn't get stuck once.
