last time it rained i was driving with the cruise on and there was huge puddle on the road completely covering the road and i thought it was shallow but the road was starting to cave in and my truck started to hydroplane and my ESP kicked the cruise control off and i looked down to see the ESP light flashing. i'm sure if i would of kept going i would of crashed cuz the force of me hitting that puddle at 120KM was like HOLY F*CK! and yeah i just slowed down and went through the puddle and then continued on.

Now for our Rams, what happens when were driving and we turn the key to the start position. I heard that it kills the governor

I've done it and it completely shuts off ESP along with all electronics except for the speedometer. The truck runs normal though.

Heard it shuts off the speed limiter but I haven't tried it since there's no safe place to do it around here

If you can hold the key on that long to get up to over 104 mph giv er' a whirl and let us know. I know all the other stuff shuts down completely.

well see.. i'm to chicken to do that cuz my thought would be you turn the key over to start and the starter engages. but i suppose they could have some special to not send power to the starter when your in drive or reverse but yeahplus i dont think that would be good when the techs bring up your data on there computer and see you were doing over the governor limit haha

my first big rain storm in my truck was a pretty nasty one, it had been awhile since a rain had come through so of course the roads were oily and it dumped tons of rain in a matter of mins.......truck felt loose on the road so i kicked the speed down, still felt alittle loose so i kicked it in 4wd and had no probs from there and never seen the esp light flash

i have tested the button on and off in sand, on it cuts out and off both tires spin like crazy, with 4wd it wouldn't spin the tires so idk how it acts in 4wd
