Default biggest wheels

Ok Guys. I have a 2009 Ram QC 4x4 hemi, black in colour. Right now i have the 17inch rims with 265/70-17 tires. I would like to get an after market 17inch rim and put the tallest and widest tire on that i could fit without rubbing. I don,t want to use a leveling kit or lift. I just want the biggest tires that will fit without problems. would a 35-12.5-17 fit? What are you guys using? thanks in advance .

lots of threads on this... but if you have a TRX4 that tire will fit with minimal rubbing. If you have any other version of the truck I would go with a 33 x 11.5.... I can also tell you from experience that without a lift the 35's look wierd on our trucks... the 33's look just right.... g'luck and share pics..

That wheel looks great on your truck! My ram is an SLT 4x4 QC Hemi. Do you remember what the offset is on the rims? Thanks

It's somethin crazy like +18.... it'd be readily available on the MT website. They stick out about an inch.... of course I have the fender flares too so keep that in mind... thanks for the compliment!

Anyone know how you determine what the widest tires to use for a particular wheel? (I.E. if you have a 9" wide wheel, don't go wider than X", 8" wheel go no wider than X", or is wheel width even a factor to really consider?)

The tire places usually tell you what the minimum width req is for each tire size. Sidewall is the big factor with that. Youll need a wider wheel to run a 325 on a vette compared to a 325 on a pickup.
