Default Winter Prep

What will you be coating your trucks with this winter to protect the paint. I just started using Klasse and I'm happy with the results. Just have to use very little on a damp applicator. water beads nicely. I'm not top coating with wax because I think the shine on my color (Austin Tan) looks good. I really need a garage though.

Usually just a coating of road salt and sand which stays until spring.

Funny thing is that putting vehicles in the garage is harder on the paint and metal than leaving outside. The melt cycles that you get in a garage give corrosion more opportunity than if the crap stays frozen most of the time.

i dont mess around with detailing vehicle outsides anymore myself. i leave it to the professionals.

i actually have a urethane sealer put on before winter. i beleive you cant buy it in stores. prob. online. it protects the paint longer, doesnt wear off after 3 car washes.....
