Magnaflow Question
Good job on the before and after.
Video camera is currently broken, otherwise I'd do a little video... There is a (Chevy) truck here at work with a Magnaflow cat-back system on it. It's got the side exhaust in front of the tire on it. I think you'd only want to do this with a lift on your truck. The magnaflow stuff looks really nice, the welds are all perfect.

I know that is a Chevy, but I plan on doing something similar on my truck since I only have the single exhaust. I should just man up and cut a hole in the side of the bed and make it look like the Viper's exhaust (that's not going to happen though).
Anyone else thought of doing this?

On my 97 1500 4x4 5.9L sport, I had a SI/SO flowmaster welded in and ran a single pipe out in front of the back tire similar to the pictured setup. The tip itself was angled at the end, so I put close to 45 degree bend on the exhaust pipe from the outlet of the muffler and had the tip mounted so that it was "flush" with the body line of the truck...if this makes any sense. That setup reduced the stock amount of bends in the pipe (i.e. over the axel, etc) aft of the muffler. I got a lot of complements on it and it was fun as hell if you wanted to "dump some sound" into someone's driverside window if they so deserved it
