Just leveled or lifted my 2WD
It really looks good to me, not a drastic change but it is level now, used Daystar 1 1/2 spacers, on the front, no problem install ,easy, no problems, the ride is almost the exact same, so far it rides perfect, I was suprised......I have put these in before and usually rides rough, but not this truck.

Thanks Tall.............Bear I will let you know, I wanted a good ride and that is what I got, this truck really responds well to these, and you can put them in with just basic hand tools and a floor jack.
you mean we are supposed to haul stuff in the back of these things?? lol....
mines a glorified car.lol. i have another truck for "work"....

OK.....a few things I need to say about this install.......
after the kit settled it dropped more than I like, to ME it is not level, which is what I expected, the pictures are before it settled, what is weird is if you park in a spot that has a slight angle down it will look like you didn't even put on a lift or level, like the springs are soft, here is what I found so far..
1 1/2 inch lift is ALL you can do with stock shocks, if you go more, the stud on top wont have enough thread to start the nut unless you jack up the control arm,
I have found 2 inch spacers and that WOULD level it, it needs 2 inches total to level this truck, BUT 2 inches require LONGER shocks, or custom made stud extenders, the ones they sell that I have seen are standard thread and not metric thread, with the adapters you can use stock shocks, it makes the stud longer on top.
I know I sound kind of ****, but I want to be clear that this kit will NOT level it out perfect, most that I have shown this kit installed think I am crazy, I am telling you this to save you some money, and we can all benefit, it doesn't look bad, it just isn't level, with 1/2 tank of gas it looks even better,
SPINDLES are the only way to go past 2 inches...in my opinion
I will get a new settled picture on here tomorrow

Thanks again for the insight. This is just the kind of feedback needed for those who have not made the upgrade, yet. Sorry you are having to deal with it but thanks for the info. I'm still hoping that the longer our trucks are on the market the more leveling options we'll have. However, I moved up to the Ram from a Frontier and I'm used to getting no attention from the aftermarket world.
