is that the same price they offered last month?

 

The price last month was $199 for the AllGig and $58 for the AV cable. I heard that the $199 price was as cheap if not cheaper than the vendor price. $229 is about the price you get in your average group buy, so still not a bad deal.

 

FYI there will not be any further updates to the REN except possible gracenotes.
