Thanks for the support . I'll admint I was a less than attentive buyer when it came to the fuel saver. I checked to make everything else was ok and working when I bought the truck. I just missed it. The point is Dodge posted on their web site the light was standard on SLT and higher trim models. It was also in the brochures. Dodge did not say it was only good for builds after a certain date. From that standpoint I can see why some of us would like Dodge to address the issue. You may not agree, but to each his own.

I just would like to have the Tire PSI that the 2010 have. I like the idea of knowing which tire is the one with low pressure instead of checking every tire.

It would be a perfect world if Chrysler would give us all a new EVIC but give your head a shake. Parts change and are not interchangeable. Radios are not longer Harmon Becker, they are Mitsubishi and one of the connections is not on anytime built 09. So I guess they should give us a new radio too.
How do you think they know of what changes to make, we all complain in these forums and at the dealerships. Now the next model is out and they listened to some of the complaints, like the EVIC display for one.
For the price we paid also I don't think they owe us anything but warranty and good service when we bring it in. Good luck to all of you trying to wreck your EVIC so you can have a stupid fuel saver light.
Amen to that!

I saw a billboard ad the other day for the RAM "It swallowed a luxury car". That's what it felt like when I test drove it. I ended up buying the one I drove too. I wanted a truck, and the features of the '09 RAM were WAY ahead of the F-150s and GMs. Coil springs, bigass V8 with MDS/whatever-its-called-this-week. For once in my life, I bought at the right time, a week before the bankruptcy. They were giving them away, $13k off MSRP.

Heated and cooled leather seats, sunroof, navigation, Tiptronic transmission, all for $32k. Some may look for a work truck, and if that was me, to be honest, I would be looking at a different truck, the truck is too nice to mess up

All this talk of changing bits out, modifying things, all utterly unneccessary. I have the "fuel saver" display. Does it make me back off the gas when it goes out? No. Why? We're going uphill! Do I care that I can't see the average fuel consumption? No, because 1) I shouldn't have bought a V8 if I did, gas costs next to nothing anyway. 2) I can tell from the DTE increasing or decreasing what the fuel consumption is doing. Empathy with the machine.

Sure, there are some cheap *** "features", like the plastic trim on the bed rails. Go look in the trunk of a Mercedes and pull back the carpet. Equally cheap.

The software gets flashed when it needs to be. I don't want them to do it more often , because I don't want to pay for it, either directly or indirectly. As long as it does what it says it did on the box when I bought it, I am a happy camper. Especially at the price I paid. Very happy.

Thanksup there and on the other hand I am sorry to offend others but I know that I made sense if only one or 2 people agree. We all got great deals on great trucks. I expected to get a lot worse mileage than I do. I don't even have a customized truck and everyone gives you the thumbs up or the nod when you pull up beside them. Now that is worth something.Did people out there get Ford and Chevy pickups for that killer price with all the stuff that we have?

What kills me is not very many of you actually work at Chrysler and yet you got the truck for the same price basically. Some of the deals I was hearing, I question in my mind since they were quite a bit better than mine but that is my fault for not going after more. I think some were stories personally but I don't care I felt I was getting enough. I admit I would like the features of the 2010 but I am not going to go nuts about it. Maybe one of the techs on here can find out if an 09 EVIC can be flashed to work like a 2010 and make everyone happy. I would not hold your breath. If you got such a deal as some of the one I heard I would imagine they could sell it now and make money or break even then go buy a 2010 but your not gonna get it for 28000, and 32000, I bet 40G's is going to be the deal for a loaded truck.

just heated seats or do you need the memory seat option as well? I was going to add heated seats to my truck and there are different modules based on what you want. headed seats with memory or heated steering or cooled seats.. does the reverse tilt work on a truck with just heated seat and no memory seats?

Thanks...

i dont really care about the individual tire pressure but i would like the DTE and avg mileage next to each other. i dont consider it very high on my mod list though lol
