Do they interfere with loading sheet goods? How secure are they and how do the look styling wise? Also do they work with tonneau covers.

 

Doesn't Undercover make something similar that is detachable?

 

I had one on my 96 Dodge, it worked well. I swapped it over to my 06 Dakota and it got in the way a little. It never interfered with much as far as hauling goes because it rides over the wheel well. I had tonneau covers on both trucks and it was compatible with them. The lid locks and you can also switch the hinge side to open either way. You can mount it in front or behind the wheel housing so you should be able to find a mount that suits you. I don't plan on getting one for my 09.
