Default Mopar stuff worth ordering?

Going to meet with dealer to finalize paperwork tomorrow... any suggestions on mopar gear worth ordering?

I have been looking at the hood, the lift package, chrome accents and the hard flip cover tonneau, but not 100% on anything.

Also, does anyone like the uconnect thing that makes your truck a mobile hotspot?

Thank you in advance for the input.

Lots of Q's here...

First uconnect that makes it a hot spot. You are aware that requires a monthly subscription? The device is basically a wireless access point that also connects to the net via Satellite. Not cheap and the connection would be slow. Would be better served with an air card for your laptop.

Hood.... THat is personal preference. To be honest the more I look at mine the more I like it. The cowl is actually fairly high on the stock hood, much nicer than the 3rd gen which was almost flat.

Chrome package... ST or SLT truck, OK. Sport No. Laramie you should already have it.

Molded mup flaps. Great for paint protection from flying crap. Bad as they rub into the paint.

Tube/nerfs, Mopar nice, but price is high.

Power lock/unlock for gate, nice to have if you lock your bed.

The only Mopar accessory I am going to buy will be the rubber mud floor mats. I have went back and forth on this, but decided last week to just stop at the dealer and get a Mopar set. Part of my winterizing project this up coming weekend. The other being me customizing some mud flaps for winter use, pics and plans in another post next week.

94 handled all you questions, and I'd have to agree with him on almost everything.

The Dodge floormats are nice, but don't protect a whole lot. If you're looking for the name on the mat, then Mopar is the only way to go. Overall protection though, you'd be better served by Weathertechs or Husky Liners.

I'm not a fan of the Mopar hard tonunne. Have you checked out Leer's line? I just got the Leer 700 a few weeks ago, and man is it awesome.

thanks for the suggestions. I checked out the leer and it looks nice, but I need something that I can fold back instantly to give me full access to the bed at a moments notice. I'm in b/w the Bakflip and the mopar. I really don't want to do the Bakflip after all of the negative reviews, but don't see any other comparable option the mopar version.

Just adding my 2 cents about a folding tonneau cover.I recently purchased the Torza Hardhat tonneau cover from 4 wheelonline.com.It cost $529, free shipping.Beats any other price by $150.It has a lifetime warranty on the frame, 7 year warranty on the covering. No drilling needed, installs in 5 minutes, one man install. After the clamps are adjusted the first time, it installs in half that time.It folds up, you can keep it folded up and locked onto your truck and drive as well. One of the best products I ever bought.Just wanted to share...........................................Ke vin.

Don't really have time today, I went to one of the websites that sells the TorzaHardhat tonneau cover's and got a pretty good idea how sturdy this cover was.Again if I had a camera or web access on my camera it would'nt be a problem.

P.S. The picture of the cover is on a Dodge ram btw. Also LongislandRam I grew in Huntington btw.

weathertech digital floormats are above and beyond all other floor mats that i have seen. i havent seen specific mopar ones yet, i know they exist but check out the other mats before you make a decision.
