Exclamation Tow Hooks...Where?

Any Ideas as to where I can buy front tow hooks for less than the dealer $140.00 ones?

This would be for my 09 Laramie 4X4 1500

Nothing aftermarket that I'm aware of. You might try checking local dealer websites for coupons in their parts section. Pretty common to see 15 -20% off coupons. You can buy them online for $130, but pay about 420 shipping.

LOL - good luck securing a normal 2 bolt towhook to the front of a Ram securely.

Look at the pictures on post #7 here:

There's a bit more to it than just the tow hooks, there are some reinforcements

Those tow hooks are so use less. How are you going to get a strap in there?

In where? If you are talking about the stock tow hooks then it's pretty easy to put a strap on them. Ram hooks are actually hooks, not loops like Fords have.

I agree with oldjeep. These hooks are very stout and its actually not an issue getting a strap on the hooks. I even had chains on these hooks without much trouble.

Anyone try a hook installation of a Sport?
Are there bolt holes behind the bumper the same as the laramie or slt?
Will it fit if I cut out the black plastic cover piece?

Think they should.... I've gotta TRX4 that came with both the plastic bumper and the OEM hooks.
