Two Questions
Hi All:
Just a couple or questions.
1. Now that the 2010's are being built when and where can we find the production numbers for 2009? You know how many, what model, what color?
2. Had set my tire pressure to 35 psi per the door sticker about three months ago. Today they are down to 30 psi. At what pressure does the tire monitor light come on?
Any information would be a big help.
Thanks

Don't know about 2009 production #'s, as far as the tire pressure goes, I had mine set on 35 as well,in the summer time.Back in october when the temperature went to 30 degrees, the tire pressure went down as well(30)on all 4 tires, give or take a degree. My low tire pressure light came on.I did'nt see anywhere in the manual about an actual pressure.
If your door sticker says the cold tire pressure should be 35 psi, then the light will turn on at 28 psi and off when they get back up to 32 psi.
Remember to check your pressures when the tires are cold. Also weather temperature changes will affect the pressure level in your tires. As winter arrives, your pressures will drop with the lower temperatures possibly tripping the light.
The LD Ram is number 3 for sales at 16.7% market share (Ford is 30.6%). Not bad considering there were a lot of dealers with no trucks to sell for a time after the bankruptcy. The HD trucks are at 23.8% share (Ford is 40.2%). I would expect the market share to go up even higher with the new HDs hitting the streets and the bankruptcy behind us.

By laws TPMS must ignite a warning when the PSI drops to below 80% of recommended. I had a recall for this on my pontiac because the recomended PSI is higher in the rears than the front but the warning light was igniting at the same psi for all four tires.
