From what I remember, any Ram built in the fall of 2008 did'nt come with the fuel saver feature. My light comes on when I'm going 30-45 MPH on level or slight upgrade or downgrade. It comes on again when I'm going between 65-68 MPH, never 70 MPH.Keep in mind, when you use cruise control, that'll affect slightly when the MDS kicks in, I guess the system wants to go a certain MPH and it goes there not in a delicate manner. If you ease on the gas, you can keep the MDS on in some cases and get yourself to the desired MPH at the same time.

5W-20 oil ONLY. Brand, that is up to you.

The lifetime warranty is only going to cover the insides of your engine, tranny and differential. In other words lets say you have a sensor go bad, that will not be covered outside the 3/36. However if you have a bad lifter, shoot a rod, grind up the gears in the tranny you will be covered. I am guessing most of the people who will cash in on this warranty will be tranny related or people who drive the truck for 300K miles and the engine just dies. (I would love to see Dodge's response to that one).

I put 93 in mine, but for you I would do 89, it will be your best performance option and only costs 2.60 a tank! 3.20 if you have the 32 gallon

Exhaust, do not expect any decent MPG gains. Just get what you like in terms of sound.
Now if you put 300K there might be a clause in the warranty that says normal wear and tear is not covered. But what is normal? My dad had a topaz that he drove daily 8 hours, 5 days a week and then some. He got a lifetime warranty from Ford, they replaced almost every part on the car including tierod ends ever few months, complete a/c system, engine three times, trans a couple times. It was some weird warranty that they got rid of very soon after it was available. It was the best money he ever spent. They kept saying he was using the car for work which was true we haul a couple envelopes important stuff when AM C was around then not long after Chrysler took over anyway dealership tried to get him on that but there was nothing worn that would indicate work. He told them he had a girlfriend in Toronto and she was a nymph. What can they say? LOL They were happy when he finally sold that car..non transferable warranty.

So in short find out what their idea of mileage limit for usual wear and tear and see if they cover it beyond.

Default Lifetime warranty requirements

Along with 5 year inspection by dealer and using only 5w20 oil of your choice. The manual says you need to change the oil every 6000 miles or 6 months. Whichever comes first. So I wouldn't buy super expensive long mileage oil when you are supposed to change it every 6 months regardless of mileage.
