Question Opinions Needed - Please Help!!!

Okay so the truck is scheduled for delievery anytime with in the next two weeks. I will have it before our annul ski trip for NYE... So here goes the tough part, Everyone is relying on me to drive up. Do I really want to take a brand new truck up sking???

I am torn between wow this is going to be great, I get my new truck and take it for a long ride and damn I am going to have anywhere from 4 to 6 people in my truck right after getting off the slopes...

So which one is it?

The **** freak?

or

It is just a truck and take it?

It is not just a truck, it is YOUR truck so do with it as you wish. Everyone has different opinions, the only one that matters here is yours.

Personally, I'd say be the cool guy with the brand new, huge, awsome truck that they got to ride in. You got it, might as well flaunt it. Just go buy some rubber floormats and it will be fine. And cars can always be cleaned up great if it gets a little dirty inside or out. About the only thing I would be concerned about is if there's enough time for the engine to be properly broken in.

Edit: Oh yeah, and it will SUCK having 6 people in there on a long trip. 5 is moderately comfortable, but if you go with 6, whoever has to ride the hump up front will be hating life unless they're a small child or a midget.

take it, but tell them they need to respect it as if it was theirs. you didn't spend 30K+ for other ppl to mess it up.

Its a truck, its meant to be used. Just don't show off too much, you gotta remember that there is a break in period for the engine.

Yeah...I'd say get those weathertechs and take it, just remind them it's BRAND NEW DON'T **** UP MY LEATHER!!! lol. I'm picking up mine in a week and some change and driving 1500 miles or so from Ft. Hood TX to San Francisco, CA, and taking a couple friends with me so I know what you mean about the long trip, but I think it'll be fine.
