Default Proper Tire Inflation

Alright guys I went from the stock LT 17's on my TRX4 to the following tire size. Can anyone tell me the correction inflation or where I can find out.

295/75/17 Load Rating D - GVW is 6800 according to the placard.

I think the only thing you can do once you go with different sizes of tires is to look at the max pressure on the tire itself and fill to about 5 or 7 pounds less than that.

Well this chart doesn't quite go up that big, but it sounds like you would want to go up to atleast 50. The chart is on page 2.

hmmm.... do not go by maximum tire psi... if you are running LT tires that will be the psi for the rear tires on a non dual 3500 rear tire.

Best method is to measure temperature across your tire tread after aggressive driving. If it is even then sweet... hotter in the midle lower psi, colder in the middle raise psi.

If you do not have the right equipment for this set it to oe psi for your oe tires.
drive it... if it feels good, awesome if it is squirrly raise it is too jarring or you are getting to much wheel spin lower it.

You will probably find that withn 5 of oe reccomendation is where you will end up.

How about asking the tire dealer (place you purchased the tires from). They should know.
