Default TRX4 Lift question

Ok I know we have all confirmed that the 09 TRX4 is about 1" taller than the others. I am thinking about doing a 2" spacer in the frnt and another 2" spacer in the rear on mine. That way it will keep its stock stance just taller. But will I need to replace the shocks on the front, since it is already 1" taller than the other trucks or will I be ok? Just want to know if anyone has gone through this yet. If so should I get longer on the rear too?

You should be fine. Although when I did my leveling kit on my TRX4, the front wound up being about half an inch higher. I used the RC kit. I wound up having to put an additional spacer in the rear to level it. But to answer your question I have a strut spacer up front with stock shocks, and have put about 8,000 miles on the it now with no problems whatsoever. Just be sure to get it aligned after your done.
