Some oil change places have been known to use blue water rather than the real stuff in the summer. I had a bunch of damage done to a previous car when the whole system froze. If you suspect that your fluid isn't freeze proof, pump it all out on the windshield ASAP and replace it.

Default RRT 09-023--flash park assist module.

I would bring all your issues to the dealer. But at least it seems they are aware of #4. Here is a quote I took from another thread.

"The other was something to do with reflashing the park assist module. Apparently if you live in an error that gets cold enough, the freezing temps apparently effected the sensors enough to give some false positives or something."

RRT 09-023--flash park assist module.

I had my Park Assist quit working the other day after a car wash on a 12 degree F day. The next morning it was fine.

I had my park assist doing the same thing last winter, and just either wiped off the sensors or turned it off, come spring no more frost, exhaust cloud, etc. problem goes away. Come summer, they come out with that RRT flash, got it done, then it would give me the service park assist message while driving forward or any other time completely randomly (so glad I got flash done). Took it in, "nothing they can do" of course unless they drive the truck until it comes on again randomly (could have been week or more). Anyways, kinda worked itself out, was working better up until this last cold snap (which is expected and fine by me). The point I am getting to finally is.... if the only time you have issues with the sensors is when they are actually sensing something behind you (ie. exhaust, frost) don't get the flash it just farks it all up.

the park assist doesnt seem to work once the bumper gets frosted, and then when it gets really cold, (Canada cold) they dont seem to work whether they're clean or not.
I just turn mine off in the winter.
They should work perfect once it warms up.

There is a service bulletin for a reprogram for the backup sensors to help when they get frozen etc. I had mine done, I haven't had any ice on them since though. Someone has said they have changed the keyless remote module and it has fixed the key fob problem, I haven't had that done yet.

My EVIC was telling me to "service park assist" also. Guess it must be the -40c weather last week in Alberta. Now that it has warmed up alittle the message is gone. Also I have some firestone coil-rite airbags that did not like the cold weather we got either. Both bags let go. Looks like the plastic bags just got so stiff that they broke. Gotta love Canadian winters!

If you want your REN to work with your iPod, read this thread:

You *might* have to spend $300 or so (but I and, it appears, a few others didn't).
