went to go look at some stock srt rims a guy was selling and was suprised to see that one was dented. this was on the original pirellis 305/40/22. thought they were forged wheels and wouldnt expect these wheels to catch a dent. wasnt bad just a 3 inch flat spot. he wanted 12 for them with good meat on the tires.

 

Just a FYI, but those stock Pirellis are not worth crap.

 

The rims are aluminum, not forged. Mine have a few small dents from the knucklehead who changed the tires.

 

If they are oem srt wheels they are indeed forged

Guess I'm wrong about them being aluminum, that's what I thought was the case when I bought mine. I'm glad that they are forged, much better wheel. Thanks for clearing it up.

 

They are forged aluminum - as opposed to being cast aluminum
