I have seen references on here that suggest that the Mopar cat back exhaust for my truck is made by Borla. I found a Mopar exhaust in the Mopar catalog that says it is for 6/8 foot bed. Is that also for the 5' 7" bed?

And how much is it (for the actual Mopar system)? I can't find a price anywhere.

It is my understanding that if I get the Mopar exhaust and have it installed by an actual Dodge dealer, it will be covered by my Lifetime Maximum Care warranty.

 

I asked at the dealer and was told corsa, and their new truck line

That is what the dealer told me, he also said the challenge and charger cat back systems were made by corsa also.

your price will depend on where you are, I have seen them on line for around 650 but then you add shipping and what not !!!!!

 

Where can you find them online with prices? I haven't found anywhere yet that lists the Mopar system for my truck with a price.

I just tried it again (on MoparSupercenter.com).

From the main page:

- click on Parts & Accessories Online Store
- click the list for 'shop by vehicle' and choose Dodge.
- Under Select Year, click on 2009.
- Under Select Model, click on Ram Truck.
- Under Trim, select 1500.
- Under Parts Categories, click Parts & Accessories.
- Under Parts Categories, click Exhaust Systems.
- Under Parts Categories, click Cat-Back Systems.

See 2 items, both DB Performance Exhaust, no Mopar.

If I back up to where I select Trim, there is another option, for '5.7 6/8 BED 4WD'. If I pick that, then I get the same choices after that, and then it lists a 3rd choice for exhausts, which is the info I listed above.

But, my truck is NOT a 6' or 8' bed.

 

when u pick 1500 it gives you the short bed option with either dual outlet or single outlet, the part # for the dual outlet is ID:24405
