Lol, us tundra guys are in the same boat. Bitching for a tuner and Unichip stepped up. Only problem was they sent out canned tunes that didnt work for like 80% of the buyers. Even my custom tune makes me wonder how much better it really is VS stock.

You get anxious when something new comes out and wanna be the first to get it. This more times than not can end up biting you in the butt.

M15 (sorry man forgot your name), did you take it off already? Im planning on taking off my tuner next 1/4 mile to see what it can do with just intake/exhaust. Basically same set up you got right? I hear Jan 9th is the nest fontana date, but its not posted yet. You down to go if its on?

i bought the diablo for my 05 ram daytona edition. i did not get the ping, but i did get serious trany problems, less that 3000 miles i had to go back to dodge becasue my tranny was gone 100% i had to use the lever to shift it into 1st and 2nd just to get it to dodge, of course it was still covered under the 7 year 70k mile warrenty so 2 weeks later i get it back and i did not think it was the programmer so i installed it again and within 200 miles my tranny light started flashing at me and it was slipping, so i did what you are doing but i sold it on ebay for 100 bucks. and i traded the truck in on a 09 trx4, did not want the tranny isues anymore, so i bought the jet for the 09 works great with no problems unlike the diablo so i would stay away from this.

Your problem with the toyota is probably rust crumbling into the tuner or somewhere in the wiring probably near the frame. I don't care if they make them in US, Canada or Mexico where do the profits go.

Man your probably right, i never even thought about that. better check on that first thing in the morning. Oh wait thats right, I have an 08 not a first gen. I think I'll be ok. Unless the floor mats dont kill me first that is.

As far as where it's made, I dont see why you care, I bought it with my money, and it sits in my drive way, not yours, so dont lose any sleep over it.

It's Robert. Dont worry I'm bad with names too LOL! Ya I have somebody picking up my tuner tuesday for $200. So right now all I have for mods is a muffler and a K&N replacement filter. So at the most I probably have like 5hp over stock. I'm down to go to Fontana on the 9th. Watch I get better times without the tuner lol!

Thats right, Robert, lol. I'm jason, sorry again man, i suck at remembering names.

My best time ever at fontana was a 14.2 and that was w/o a tuner, just intake and exhaust. Ive never ran anything close to that since then with the tuner. Its kinda frustrating because on a dyno it shows huge gains, but it just doesnt seem to translate to better track times. Im gonna pull mine off too for the 9th just to see what it does. That is if its open on the 9th. Thats just word on the street.
