The cover is part of a package.

The original hoods definitely were aluminum but the new info says E-Coated sheet metal. I doubt they changed things but it is possible. Might be a new supplier since they are now up to revision AD.

So is that going to be a body kit/22" wheel/cover package? Is it gonna be all or nothing? Or a more general package for all the trucks?

I was at the dealership today and checking on a few things in parts dept.
They tell me according to the LATEST catalogue the Optional hood is STEEL

Give this some thought....

The option is $775. So... Does Dodge expect me to believe it costs a considerable amount more to produce this hood than the stock hood?? For that price you should be getting BOTH hoods. Dodge is taking you to the cleaners on this hood.

Don't go shopping at Canadian dealers then, the price is $1380.00+ 15%tax and it only comes primered so you'd still have to pay to have it painted?!
How WRONG is that?
