Default Local body shop issues

Some jackass hit the back of my, pushed the rear bumber in and thr RH side exaust and the paint is the Brilliant Black wich I'm not sure how hard that is to paint?
Well now I will vent, fist visit back to pick up the truck they did the paint work replaced the bumber and that's it, it was still pushed in and the exhaust so I left them the truck I was not going to take it. Second I got it back the next day and all looked good untill the next morning when I seen the sun shining on the side they fixed and I noticed the clear was already peeling off, one day old and dirt in the paint so I brought it back and they fixedit again and picked it up Wednesday night all looked good intact my buddy droped me of to get it and jokeing said don't look to hard. Well today I looked at the truck since the rain is over and now there white wipe mark under the clear like there was a finger rubbed down the paint then cleared it plust u could see white specs in the streak mark now I'll be going back to the dealer again, I'm sure they will not be happy to see me Monday ? What should I do besides bringing it back just wait and see how many times it will take for them to get it right and this a dodge bodyshop.

If it's your insurance company (or the other person's) paying for these visits, try telling them you're extremely dissatisfied with that dealership's service and would like to change body shops. Let them know that the dealership keeps doing shoddy work, and aren't fixing the problem properly. Also see about a loaner from the dealership or a rental reimbursement till they get it right.

Well I would expect the dealership to pay to fix their mistakes, but I mean initially was it the insurance company or out of your pocket? What made you take your truck to that dealership to begin with?

Oh ya they want your signature for the insurance to pay, they don't get paid till you are happy, Call you insurance and tell them the deal and tell them you are not signing it off till it's fixed correct and that you want to go somewhere else since these jokers have tried 3 times. I did it years ago. When it's insurance and not your fault take you vehicle to the best place in town it's your choice at least here in ontario, canada where i live it's my choice. I just took my sons car to a local body shop at a dealer ship that is on their lot but owned by someone else anyway, my sons car had some rust between the bumper cover and the quarter. I thought it would be warranty but I forgot when he damaged the front in and ice storm, hit a curb, pretty much all new front end on one side(guaranteed for like thru insurance) well there were a few dorks that hit him while it was parked, could not get license plates cuz they took off, and cop could not care about descriptions or anything cuz to turn there mean they live around there at that time of night like 3 am and the street is only 3 blocks to dead end for like 10 streets so it would not be hard to track them down by description, Well the insurance wanted a deductible for every hit 1000 deductible so I said just fix the front well the body shop told me they were gonna fix the back scratches on the bumper for me, I told them don't do it unless it will be done correct, he says oh ya will take bumper cover off and fix everything right. Okay. Well almost a year it starts rusting there, he told me on the phone that he did me a favour, I said when we talked I said fix it right or leave it, he promised. So anyway he say for 100 he will fix it I said I am gonna pay 300 and have it done right and surprisingly this place will guarantee rust repairs for life. Not too many places would. Man I sure hate people that do you favours the right way. Hell I knew he didn't paint the complete bumper like he said cuz we touched in up the first day we got it at home had a couple small spots, that someone probly hit it on the lot so I just bought touch up paint on that spot you can't see it cuz it is an area with like a squared kind of textured lines so the touch up was only seen by us cuz we knew where it was. Anyway I wound up hanging up on him, feel like reporting him to the insurance since he told me he got paid enough to cover that repair. Fixed now looks great but we are all stupid cuz there is a mark on the other side nobody noticed . I give up.
