I've used Silverstars for over 10 years, no problems at all ever. HID's might be for some guys, but I'm a plug it in and leave it kinda guy, not into taking my truck apart for mods.

dying to do hid's....I miss them so much!! I have yet to find a good solid kit and setup that eliminates the problems with the 2010's! I just joined this forum but have been keeping tabs on a couple of others waiting for a break through on the hid's. So what is the secret? I have the quad bulb set up and am planning on doing all bulbs HID...

recon has projector replacement headlamps coming out sometiem this year.

you will still have to buy and aftermrket hid kit,

Silverstars and the other high output replacement bulbs are great. Except they do have the unfortunate drawback of more limited life and those suckers aren't cheap. It is a trade off less life for more light.
