Default 2009 ST work truck 4x4

I have the ST 4x4 Quad. Suposedly its a work truck....When I put my trailer on it, which weighs about 4500lbs, it bottoms out. The suspension on this truck is fantastic whe not loaded, but when the trailer is on It drops alot, maybe a foot.....I had to get the torsion bars to lift it but still should it be sinking so low........?????

Second question....

Would the MDS go on if cruising at 40 MPH?

I don;t know much about the weight issue but my MDS comes on even if I am cruising at a speed of 15.....lol Anywhere the truck doesnt have to work hard to maintain the speed it will come on.

Yes, MDS should come on at 40 if you are holding the gas steady or have the CC on, however not while towing 4500lbs.

I have the Ram sport, and I didn't want to get into the same issue you have. So I shopped online and bought a set of timbrens. They just replace the rubber stops on your truck, with larger ones. With mine in, I have about 1-2" space between the timbren and my rear axle. Check them out, maybe it will help you out.
