Default heated steering wheel

Anyone seen a problem with their heated steering? My indicator in the switch goes on for less than a second then off. Probably a short or something. I sure hate to take it in and have them create more problems.
Hoping a loose connector or something - lol

I read where it can shut off 20 minutes or so, mine has never shut off on it's own but it sure gets hot and I cycle it on and off to keep it comfortable, wish it had a low setting.

Mines done that a couple times. Its almost like it gets confused but all I do is hit the button again after a few seconds and hit it again to turn it back on and its fine.

Not enough for me to complain as it always works (Its only happened twice)

My heated steering wheel usually works ok, but several times now it has over heated. The steering wheel will get so hot that it is almost uncomfortable to grip. I usually just turn if off for a while, but it bugs the heck out of me cause I know its not supposed to work that way.

My first 09 had the heated steering wheel and just like fastlakota, mine would get to hot to drive with. Course I live in south Texas so our winter last like 3 hours, but I would remote start the truck then when I was ready to leave to work would just turn the heated wheel off. Perfect in TX. Jeff.
