if you load an older version of the software onto the ren unit then there is a trick to make it work. but the older version has a lot of bugs in it that kept locking up my ren unit so i just upgraded the software and haven't worried about it for now.

go to this site to get the older software. Then all you have to do once it is installed is simply start the movie playing while in park, push the audio button to bring up the speaker setting screen and then shift out of park and take off, once you are moving then simply push the done button to cancel out of the audio screen and it will go back to the dvd and play while you are driving. This is the only way without a lockpick but like I said, the older software locked my unit up daily so I went back to the current software
