Default Kenne Bell done with trucks

I asked Kenne Bell if they were going to make a kit for our trucks. And they said they were not going to make any more kits for trucks. Cars only. Oh well maybe Procharger or Vortech will have something out soon.

Diesel for trucks even for modding and racing is not that new really. Been a few years for sure. They are just more popular now because not only torque they get HP now and gear right they pull out like hell and burn clean too.

Yep, not new at all. I had a BLAST about 2 years ago watching 2 Diesel trucks runnin in the 10's/11's at the track formerly in Palmdale. The owners (man and wife) were both running lower boost than normal to test some new goodies. "Like a freight train baby.....CHOO CHOO, CHOO CHOO."

Translation: The husbands truck was a 9 second truck...wife was a 10....as this was at a BAD track with poor traction, at elevation, in desert heat.

The husband told me he usually runs 54 lbs of boost but was running about 42. AMAZING if it were true.

As mentioned in a previous thread, I was working with Vortech in discussion of this. There was quite a bit of "negativity" placed in the thread and Vortech is currently laying off meaning reducing production. To top that off the issues with the currently available "tuner" programmer is another issue. I will resume some discussions with them to see what is going on and post back. (They may be getting ready to finish up the projects they were working on..camaro, mustang, challenger, genesis...etc.)

^^^^ Supposedly in April the Magnusson will be available and they are claiming 140hp increase on the 09 platform.

450 horse at the wheels would be pretty nice.

the negativity was mostly due to the fact of the "only" 100 hp increase... and price

the statement i made on the matter was that if im going to pay $7000 for the kit, $700 in taxes (9.75%) and few hundred more for the install then i want more than 100 HP and a voided lifetime warranty.

(price took from their listing price on hemi vehicles... as seen here http://www.kennebell.net/pricelist/SC-PRICELIST.pdf)
