1st of all, hello to everyone. Its great to find a site like this my local dealer sucks (big time). Driving a 2009 HEMI crew with ram box.
My question is I wanted to use a OEM backup camera because how it mounts into the tail gait (love the look), but i want to hook up to my pioneer stereo. Is this possible or has dodge a way of making the connector unusable.
Thank you for any help

P.S. Fixing to try and use stock Sirius antenna for my pioneer, will let u know how it works out.
P.S.S. Like many others I wish I could use high beams & fogs @ same time )(#)%^@)%&%@&%

It has two wires and a ground for signal. I'm not positive why it would have 3 wires, a typical video signal is only 2 wire. I would bet that you could make it work with whatever you wanted.

I assume that you mean you are trying to use your stock sirius antenna for the Pioneer satellite receiver... that should work just fine. If the connector is different, visit Digikey.com and get whatever end you need and solder it onto the stock cable. No problem.

You could do this with a typical Ice cube relay pretty easy. If you are comfortable running a power wire from the battery and a switch wire from in the cab then it would be easy to do. I'll even guarantee that my circuit will work without causing any trouble codes. If you (or anyone) is interested, let me know and I will draw it up. There is no point in me doing it for fun...

Default Thanks Huff360

Thank you for the input. I will try Digikey.com as u recommended. Today went to install my Pioneer 910BT and thought I could simply trim a small piece of plastic but that dang dodge din/half instead of 2 din opening is giving me fits. About 19 degrees here know so am going to finish install another day.
Thanks again
