Default Backup camera for rer with lockpick

Did anyone add a camera to their rer mygig using the lockpick? I want to install the camera in the same place as the factory installed parkview cam. Please help me find a good backup camera. Thanks.

I did with the AllGig. Had a LockPick but it caused the audio to cut out intermittently on my RER. Anyway, I installed the Mopar backup cam and it works perfect with the AllGig, which would be pretty much the same as the LockPick.

I did but I have to warn you that Lockpick's CS is the absolute worst I've ever encountered. I wanted to install some theft resistant screws to the camera bracket. They were a bit larger than the holes so I tried to drill them out and snapped off one of the flimsy little ears.

I emailed Lockpick no less than 10 times over the course of two months, saying that I would be glad to pay for the repair of the bracket and where could I send it off to, etc., but no reply ever. That was two years ago and I still have not heard back from them.

The camera is mounted via one leg instead of two but it seems to be holding securely. My conclusion with Lockpick is that they are all nice and friendly when you inquire about purchasing their products but after they have your money they act like you don't exist.

There are several camera's I have seen that look pretty good in fact a few guys have written in these threads about cam from Ebay sources. Under hundred bucks if I recall. I have seen some even cheaper but even though they claim the same stats as the factory camera...ahhh 29 bucks for a colour cam with night vision and parking lines. Seems too good to be true anybody ever try one of those?
