Default Lo/HI Bulb upgrade for QUADS

Proven hi-performance bulbs for quad reflector housings without inherent issues related to HID conversions.

Lo -
H11 Osram Night Breaker +90 Ultra High Output
90% more precision-focused light while maintaining stock 55w wattage. Crystal-clear bulb glass in the primary optical zone for max output, with blue-tinted peripheral glass for 10% whiter light without the reduced intensity common to other extra-white bulbs.

HI -
9011 Toshiba HIR1 (Halogen Infrared Reflection)
Replaces stock 9005, 49% higher intensity at the same wattage.
OE on Viper.

Note: I run stock fog bulbs
. Fogs are for foggy/rainy/snowy weather to see close road edges & improve safety at low speeds. That's all they are designed, intended, and able to do. Leaving fogs on at all times doesn't improve lighting safety performance, though many do so in the mistaken belief they can see better at normal dry weather speed.

Thanks for this info. I have been researching this after a trip up a snowy canyon in the dark. The stock bulbs (and maybe the reflectors) suck. I will say that even though they don't make an H11, Sylvania Silverstar Ultras do come in the 9005 size for the highs. Is the Toshiba better? I had Silverstar Ultras in my Titan low beams and they were great.

Thanks for posting. I need to do this and did not want HIDs because of some of the issues.

Compared to Silverstar's, Toshiba HIR's are superior in every way.

Just replaced all 6 with Silverstars. Much improvement with the low beam. High beam makes even less of a difference with the brighter lows. Did the fogs just so they all matched the same color. Got them online here: www.odonnellsautoparts.com

1 9005SU/2 Sylvania Silverstar ULTRA Headlight Bulbs 9005 SU/2 - Pair
@ $36.99 = $36.99

2 9145ST Sylvania Silverstar Foglight Bulb 9145 ST - Single
@ $17.99 = $35.98

2 H11ST Sylvania Silverstar Headlight Bulb H11 ST - Single
@ $18.99 = $37.98

Sub-Total: $110.95
Shipping: $7.10 (Standard)
