I'm sure that is the case sometimes but I have found that I am usually dealing with the Tech that's doing the work and the service manager that also rolls his sleeves up and dives into the repairs. That means a lot to me when it comes to communicating the details of a technical issue and the probable solutions.

Ah don't mind payin' retail if'n I git zactly whut ah wont.

There seems to be a trend here, obviously Mac Haik sucks statewide and not just individual dealerships....

Purchase for me wasn't that bad, but service.....

Landmark Dodge in Morrow, GA gets a -10.... I was told that I would get a free loaner vehicle whenever I brought my truck in for service. The fat *** in the finance office just wanted to make a deal. When I brought it in for several warranty issues a week later, nobody knew anything about a loaner vehicle, and asked me if I had paid extra for it. Fatty said nothing about paying for loaner vehicle coverage, he said I would get it. I had to wait around there for 5 hours until my dad could come pick me up. Also, having the body shop located several miles away in a different city is a major PITA. The next time I buy a new vehicle, I am going to contact the manufacturer direct, and see if they can ship it and let me pick it up at the rail yard.... no stealership required.

My dealership is Mark Dodge in Lake Charles, La and they seem to be living up to their word about their service. At least they're not trying to sell me anything other than a good reputation so far. I've only been there for check up and an oill change...knock on wood and I have a little over 12k miles on my truck. My truck purchase will be a year old in early feb and paid for as well and then I lay it to rest for a yrs worth of modifications. I can kiss my warranty good bye after that because they won't recognize it as in factory condition. I should burn the engine up to see what they'd do but I need it for a core charge, lol!
