LMAO. That was a good one cpelton. It wasn't a complete failure, they got something to burn and waste money even though it wasn't the tires. The best part was how they were walking around the car not knowing what they did.

Thanks for the posts. In another forum discussing burnouts one poster said it doesn't hurt the vehicle and is actually good for them to do burnouts. So much for that theory.

I have to ask a dumb question, what did he do? yes he should have known it was not the tires but I dont know what caused the smoke.

When they let off the clutch, the clutch slipped. They just kept revving thinking they were doing a burnout with all the smoke but it was just the clutch slipping and burning.
If he couldn't tell the tires were spinning then the smell should've certainly told him something was wrong. Burning clutch smell is awful, totally different than tires. And how do I know that
