Default Gas Pump Keeps shutting off

I've only had the 2500 for about three weeks now and have been to two gas stations. Both times when I try to pump gas the pump keeps shutting off. Doesn't matter if I set the handle or squeeze and hold, I get about a gallon of gas then I have to reset the handle. I tried pulling it out a little, pushing it in, turning to the right, left.... Same result. This is real annoying when your trying to fill a 34 gallon tank, today I gave up after ten gallons. Anybody else have this problem?

Sounds like the vent tube is clogged or collapsed.

Where is the vent tube located, how do I check if it is blocked?

Runs up along the fuel filler hose into the tank.

Checking to see if it's blocked is not real easy without spraying yourself with fuel. It's a brand new truck, take it to the dealer an have them check it.

Update. Dealer called and said it was a pinched vent tube, but on my invoice it says "Found fill tube to canister is kinked. Not assembled properly at factory Re-Positioned hose at canister and tested OK"

Vent tube probabally runs through an evap canister. Good that it's fixed, clogged vent tube can cause all sorts of goofy problems while driving too, as the tank gets sucked in.
