Default Extended Warranty

Not sure where I saw the Warranty thread and I cant seem to locate it so Ill just start a new one.

I have been debating on canceling the Lifetime MAX Care warranty that I purchased without doing any research at the time I bought my truck. A dealer friend of mine told me he could have sold it to me for $500 less then they charged me. This sorta pissed me off.

Alright so here is the break down. I got taken for $2500 on this thing. Guess they figured since I basically stole the truck from them they were gonna make it up a little on the warranty.

I did some research and found that http://www.chryslerfactoryplans.com has some pretty good deals. They quoted me $1775.00 a couple months ago for the same warranty I paid $2500 for. Seems like a no brainer so I initiated the process of canceling the warranty.

I am now at the point where they are only going to credit me back $2290.00 because it has been longer then 60 days since I purchased the Warranty. Fine still some savings there.

So I go back to http://www.chryslerfactoryplans.com today to see if the price is still the same before giving them the final go ahead on the cancellation. To my surprise I get a quote for $1575.00 for the same Warranty. Done, Im canceling the one I paid almost a grand more for. Even after losing $210 on the one I bought Ill still save $715 and have the same warranty.

So, if you have any interest in obtaining a Lifetime bumper to bumper warranty with a $100 detectable, you can find it at http://www.chryslerfactoryplans.com for $1575.00.

I thought this was a good deal and it put a smile on my face. Thought you guys might be interested.

You did good, I'm sure there's more Dodge owners who paid way more than they were suppose to, who could use this info.

Got mine for $1,800 at purchase a year ago so I'm still happy with it. Good info though.
